About Back in Motion
Back in Motion was established in 2003 by Clare Carrick, a Chartered Physiotherapist who brings together her international training and experience with a commitment to providing the highest standards in physiotherapy and patient care across her clinics.
Clare qualified in physiotherapy at Manchester University in 1998 and worked in the UK for the NHS and the private sector before travelling to Australia and New Zealand.
It was here that Clare worked at the highest levels of sports physiotherapy, working with world-renowned rugby players and other top sportsmen.
Clare trained at the prestigious Clinical Pilates centre in Melbourne, Australia and she has bought back many of the pioneering Pilates treatments and approach to patient care she experienced in Australia to her clinics across Norfolk.
Clare is also a fully qualified acupuncturist and offers acupuncture to patients as an alternative or to complement her physiotherapy treatment.
Clare is active in the regional sporting community and she is a member of the East Region Physio team for the England Institute of Sport, where she treats Olympic level athletes.
She is also one of the pioneers of FAST – Fundamental Athlete Support Service – which delivers sports modules to children and young people in schools and clubs around Norfolk.
Back in Motion has clinics in Wymondham, Diss ,North Walsham and the UEA Sportspark and all the Back in Motion therapists are professionally qualified and chartered, offering a wide range of specialisations.
